This hotel is a 16th century property located at the heart of Salamanca, just minutes from the Plaza Mayor. The building was originally the convent of San Estaban, and it is a romantic 5-star historical hotel located at the heart of the city. It is situated in a perfect place within the centre of the city to access the Plaza Mayor, the Plaza Anaya, the Fonseca Palace or the Tower of Clavero.
Accommodation
There are 51 rooms at the hotel, which have thick stone walls and views of the cathedral, the Patio de los Olivos, or the romantic Cloister of the Convent of San Esteban. There are 41 Dreamer rooms, that give the choice between a double or twin bed, and have a minibar, flat screen TV, reading lamp, and a bathroom with a bathtub. There are also seven Deluxe rooms that have a sitting room with TV and HIFI, or take a Suite for a king sized bed.

The hotel has a fantastic restaurant, the Restaurant El Monje which offers a chance to taste the delicious and innovative Castilian cuisine. The restaurant serves traditional Salamanca cuisine, but with an avant-garde presentation. The restaurant is also situated in a domed room, with a great atmosphere.
