Location
Located on top of a hill, the Hotel Heinitzburg is a small converted castle situated in a quiet and secluded area, yet close to the city centre of Windhoek. Offering spectacular views over the city and Khomas Hochland Mountains, Heinitzburg is located 12 minutes from Eros Airport, while Windhoek International Airport is 40km from the hotel.
Accommodation
Despite its apparent size, the hotel has just 16 elegant guestrooms, each with individual air conditioning, a safe, a mini bar and a flatscreen television along with a stylish en suite bathroom. Deluxe Rooms have the added benefit of a separate bath and walk-in shower.
Dining
There are two restaurants: Leo’s at the Castle, which has a gourmet à la carte menu, and Garden Terrace, where guests can enjoy cakes, snacks and views across the city.
