Kviknes Hotel lies at the centre of Balestrand, a lush west-country village located in the world’s most beautiful Adventureland. Located 64km from Airport Haukasen and 50m from the Balestrand Pier, the hotel is easily accessed by road transfer and via boat.

Accommodation

The hotel has 190 rooms split between the historic Swiss chalet-style building and the modern building. Rooms in the historic building are all unique and each has its own character, most rooms have balconies and all rooms command spectacular views of the Sognefjord. Demi-suites and Rooms vary in size, some of which are connecting rooms, suitable for families, and selected rooms feature queen-sized beds. Alternatively, ‘Rooms with a view’ and Standard Rooms are available in the modern building.

Dining

Great emphasis is placed upon culinary experiences at Kviknes Hotel, local ingredients are sourced and used wherever possible in order to create a delicious, international four-course menu and buffet. Alternatively, the Balholm Bar menu offers a variety of starters, main courses and desserts alongside children’s menus and snacks.
