Location

Kasbah Angour is a stunning boutique hotel, located in an old Berber castle in the Atlas Mountains not far from the historic city of Marrakech. Perched on a hilltop, the hotel boasts wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The hotel is just 30 minutes by car from Marrakech Airport.

Accommodation

Kasbah Angour features just 22 rooms and three suites, set in the hotel's traditional buildings and styled to reflect the traditions of the local Berber people. Furniture is locally made with Berber motifs, while the red sandstone walls and clay tile flooring further enhance the history of the building. Rooms and suites boast panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, while modern comforts include under-floor heating and air conditioning.

Dining

The hotel's Restaurant Le Grand Atlas ha stunning views across the landscaped gardens to the mountains beyond and serves a menu of traditional Moroccan dishes and Mediterranean favourites, using locally sourced produce and fruit and vegetables from the Kasbah's own gardens. The Café-Bar Azrou serves local beers and fine wines in a relaxing setting.

The highlight of the hotel's facilities is stunning swimming pool, set in the southern gardens with views towards the mountains. The hotel's 10 acres of gardens contain a mix of native plants, flowerbeds and fruit trees and are a joy to explore.
