Ottolire Resort, Puglia

Location

Ottolire Resort is the passion project of the family Piccoli located in the heart of the Itria Valley. The family have a long history of restoring and building traditional buildings in the Puglia region and have a successful construction & development company. The restoration of the buildings was meticulously carried out over a 10 year period and the resulting hotel is really something to behold. Ottolire Resort encompasses everything that is great about Puglia, fabulous food, amazing wines and beautiful scenery.

The hotel rooms are split over several buildings that in the past were the home and farm buildings’ of the Piccoli family. The grounds of the hotel have been beautifully landscaped with a stunning pool to relax by after a day exploring the surrounding towns. Once you have tired of sampling local wines and eating there are a load of activities available from cycling, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, or perhaps just a drive around the nearby villages of Locorotondo or Martina Franca.

Accommodation

Accommodation at Ottolire Resort consists of just 14 rooms - each of which offer a selection of modern, stylish and comfortable accommodation with all the facilities you'd expect from a luxury hotel. Distinctive architecture, is reminiscent of a traditional Apulian village with views of the surrounding countryside. Mediterranean style rooms are both spacious and infinitely stylish rooms with balconies or terraces and views to either the Adriatic or the rolling hills and olive groves of Murgia.

Dining

The restaurant serves a modern take on traditional Puglian specialities. Utilising the abundance of wonderful local ingredients and a focus on fish and seafood. Breakfast is a luxurious Italian fare with a huge spread of local pastries and hot choices including pizza and more traditional American style breakfast.

Facilities

New wellness spa for 2019 includes jacuzzi, sauna, hot tub, turkish bath and treatment room. Guests can enjoy jogging and biking routes either accompanied by the spa/fitness team or not as required. Yoga and pilates course are also available
