Ramada Eco Beach Resort, Near Broome

Location

To the south of Broome, the Ramada Eco Beach Resort aims to give guests access to the beaches and bushlands of the Kimberley wilderness while having a minimal impact on its surroundings. Jack’s Bar & Restaurant serves seasonal organic produce accompanied by views over the Indian Ocean’s clarity. Over two thirds of the restaurant’s fruit and vegetables are grown on site while other ingredients are sustainably sourced. Breakfasts and light lunches give way to three-course dinner menus that feature lobster entrées and seafood mains. Unsurprisingly, the vegetarian options are a particular highlight. Outside the restaurant, the resort offers beach dinners, gourmet hampers for romantic picnics and private dining options.

The aforementioned guided walks are complemented by a range of tours that make the most of the area’s abundance of wildlife. From whale watching and turtle monitoring to helicopter fly-bys and a variety of fishing, Ramada firmly cements its eco credentials.
