Location
Noosa is something of a jewel in the northern crown of Australia’s Sunshine Coast. Its sandy beaches, excellent water-sports and collection of restaurants and boutique shops have made it popular among locals and international guests alike. With the hotel itself set just behind Hastings Street, you’ll have excellent access to all of the above with the main beach just a minute’s stroll away. If that’s not enough, head the other way and you’ll find Noosa National Park and Noosa Spit Recreation Reserve for quieter beaches and wildlife trails. Further afield, there are the wilds of the Sunshine Coast’s hinterlands to explore.
Accommodation
At Sebel Resort, you’ll experience the best in apartment living with well-appointed spacious one or two bedroom rooms. Features include a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and a separate dining and lounge area with TV. In the evening, treat yourself to a dip in the en suite spa bath or soak up what’s left of the Noosa sun on your apartment’s furnished balcony. Upgrade to a Deluxe Apartment for more space and internet access.
Dining
With a four-burner stove top, oven, microwave and all dining-ware and utensils included, many guests take full advantage of their kitchen facilities. Fresh, local produce is available from the nearby Noosa Farmers Markets and, when you’re done, there’s even a dishwasher to help you out. However if you’re feeling lazy, Hastings Street – Noosa’s beating heart – has a wide range of restaurants where you can find everything from light bites to international-standard fine dining. There’s also the famed Noosa Cruising Restaurant. If you want to combine the two, restaurants can provide you with a room service free of charge.
Facilities
Make the most of the Aussie sunshine in the Sebel’s heated outdoor pool or relax after a day in the surf in the hotel’s Jacuzzi or take to the waters by boat, surfboard and kayak or try your hand at deep-sea fishing. For those wanting a slightly slower pace, there’s bowling, massage centres and golf courses nearby as well. Or, you can just keep it simple with a trip to one of the area’s sandy beaches.
