Location
Set deep in the Hoang Lien National Park in the beautiful Sapa valley of northern Vietnam, Topas Ecolodge perches on a hilltop, 18km from the centre of Sapa. Surrounded by majestic mountains, hills and rice terraces, it is the perfect spot for a secluded break.
Accommodation
Intimate is a key word when picturing Topas Ecolodge; 25 bungalows accommodate, with the choice of Deluxe and Executive lodgings. All rustic-style bungalows are the same size and include tea and coffee making facilities, mosquito nets, natural bath amenities, high quality bedding and private balconies. Bungalows overlook the Hoang Lien mountain range and either the Ban Ho village or Thanh Kim village, with Executive rooms featuring rain showers, air conditioning and a minibar.
Dining
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served from a buffet or set menu daily, in the traditional Tay stilt restaurant. Begin the day with freshly baked breads, homemade jams and juices and enjoy authentic Vietnamese dishes for lunch and dinner, including spring rolls, banana flower salad, morning glory and steamed rice.
Facilities
Overlooking the rice terraces of the valley, the lodge lounge provides the perfect haven to relax with a book from the library, enjoy a drink or connect back with the world, as it is the only place within the lodge that offers Wi-Fi. Otherwise, indulge with body treatment at the lodge spa, or try your hand Vietnamese cooking with a cookery class.
