Flying to Luleå in northern Sweden, you’ll embark on a truly memorable journey, experiencing two icons of Scandinavian travel. You’ll begin with the Treehotel, staying in one of its architect-designed tree-house rooms hidden in the forest. It’s the perfect introduction to life north of the Arctic Circle, with a range of optional excursions that include dog sledding and sleigh rides. Then, after a rail journey to Kiruna, you’ll swap life in the trees for a stay at the world-renowned ICEHOTEL, where a night on ice is accompanied by optional snowmobiling, ice carving and Northern Lights adventures.

Lulea
Enjoy included airport lounge access before your flight to Lulea. On arrival you'll be met and transferred to the Treehotel, a collection of cutting-edge cabins with names such as Mirror Cube, Blue Cone, the Bird's Nest and the Biosphere, the hotel's latest ground-breaking addition. They're all hidden in the treetops near Harads, a spectacular region of forested valleys and snowy peaks that set the scene for a full spread of optional excursions. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy dinner, explore the surrounds of the Treehotel or maybe enjoy an optional evening snowshoe excursion to go in search of the Northern Lights.

Treehotel
The landscape surrounding the Treehotel comprises of a spectacular region of forested valleys and snowy peaks that set the scene for a full spread of optional excursions. Perhaps head out with a team of huskies on a memorable dog-sledding trip, whizz through the wilderness on snowmobiles or take things at a gentler pace with reindeer sleigh rides and cultural visits to a nearby Sami village. Then, in the evening, there's another chance to treat yourself to a dinner at the hotel's acclaimed restaurant. Here, head chef Sebastian Gröndal showcases the very best in fresh, local ingredients with the likes of wild moose, reindeer and berries picked fresh from the forest.

ICEHOTEL
Today you'll travel by train from Lulea to Kiruna where you'll be met and transferred to the world-famous ICEHOTEL, your home for the next two nights. Take a tour of this incredible hotel, newly built each year from fresh snow and ice, before checking into an Ice Room where you'll spend your first night – upgrades to Deluxe Rooms, Winter and Art Suites are available for a supplement. Then, in the morning, you'll wake to a warm glass of lingonberry juice before enjoying a delicious buffet breakfast and a morning sauna before you set off to enjoy one of the ICEHOTEL's optional activities. Choose between including ice carving, husky and snowmobile safaris, ice driving and reindeer encounters, perhaps rounding things off with a Lappish dinner and an optional tour in search of the Northern Lights. Your second night at ICEHOTEL will be spent in one of the warm Kaamos rooms.
