On arrival in Siem Reap, you'll be met your guide and enjoy a private transfer to the hotel. The next few days will be spent enjoying your hotel and its surrounds, such as its stunning spa, exquisite tasting menus in the outdoor terraced restaurant and sundowners in the opulent Bensley Bar. You'll enjoy an included tour of Angkor Wat, Cambodia’s most important temple, watching as it's bathed in sunrise's golden light. Ta Prohm, a temple surrounded by jungle and shadowing banyan trees, is another highlight, as well as the magnificent Angkor Thom monument and the red sandstone walls of Banteay Srei, ‘the Woman's Citadel’. You’ll also visit Kampong Phluk, a charming cluster of villages where houses perch on stilts, nestled among dense mangrove forests.

Spend the next two days combining relaxation by the spectacular pool among the hotel's colonial-style buildings and gardens with visits to the city's most important historical sights. Highlights include a visit to the pagoda-style Royal Palace, dotted with diamond-encrusted Buddha statues and intricate sculptures, but most significant are the sobering Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Killing Fields – a harrowing but important reminder of Cambodia's tumultuous history.
