Between the ancient rainforests and pristine beaches of a private-island retreat and the multicultural bustle of the country's capital, this two-centre tour reveals the very best of Malaysia's culture and coast. Begin with a five-star stay in Kuala Lumpur, set to a backdrop of faded colonial grandeur and architecture founded in the city's strong Islamic roots. A cultural crossroads, it's a city home to Arabs, Chinese, Indians and Malays, where thronging market stalls line the same busy streets as 21st-century high-rises and designer boutiques look out to incense-filled temples. Explore it all at your own pace before a scenic drive and ferry hop brings you to your private-island paradise - Pangkor Laut. Here, ancient rainforests and shimmering white sands set the scene for days of sun-soaked spa relaxation and activities ranging from snorkelling trips to island-hopping adventures.
