Location

Hotel Sacacomie lies midway between Montreal and Quebec City; the drive from Montreal takes up to 2.5 hours and from Quebec City, the distance is relatively similar. Transfers from Montreal are also available.

Accommodation

The hotel itself is reminiscent of a rustic log cabin with vast expanses of wood and simple yet cosy rooms. All have private ensuite bathrooms, bathrobes, iron facilities, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and Wi-Fi; only the suites offer a TV. Choose from Forest-side or Lakeside rooms, Lakeside guarantees you a view of the beautiful lake and selected rooms have a private balcony or terrace.

Dining

The main dining room is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers stunning lake views and a menu which focuses on local and region dishes. During the summer months the expansive terrace is open for al fresco dining. The bar is open daily and offers a light menu in the afternoon.

Facilities

Hotel Sacacomie is a year round resort and there are a plethora of activities to enjoy. During the summer months canoeing, kayaking, hiking, fishing and wildlife spotting take centre stage, while during the winter the landscape is transformed into an icy wonderland with snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice skating, dog sledding and snowmobiling are the order of the day. The indulgent GEOS Spa has an indoor hot tub, eucalyptus steam bath, ice water bath and waterfall, two outdoor hot tubs and an underground sauna.
