Sat high above the Arctic Circle and in the Western part of the Finnish Lapland, The Snow Village in Lainio is located in close proximity to and easily reachable from Kittla airport. Spend a surprisingly warm and cosy night at the Snowhotel, with a choice of rooms kept at a comfortable temperature between -2 and -5 and shared bathroom facilities. Standard Rooms feature carefully-constructed bedframes made of ice, high-quality sleeping bags and fleece lined bags, and skilfully built Suites include thermal sleeping bags, welcoming amenities and are illuminated with ice art.

Dining

Enjoy traditional Lappish delicacies in both restaurants at the Snow Village. The cosy Log Restaurant serves breakfast daily, cafeteria-style snacks throughout the day, a soup and lunch buffet and a la carte menu for dinner. A more sophisticated affair, the Ice Restaurant offers a three-course supper menu.
