Location
Set on a private stretch of the Zambezi River in Zambia, Royal Chundu is located merely 30kms downstream from Victoria Falls, allowing privacy and exclusivity to the discerning traveller, along with the experience of the diverse life of the Zambezi. The lodge is located 50km from Livingstone International Airport.
Accommodation
The River Lodge consists of 10 luxury villas, stretching out along a 15km section of river and features private decks and uninterrupted river views. The accommodation sleeps 20 people – in magnificent and spacious lodges – each of which is thatched and features a double shower and king-sized beds. On nearby Katombora Island, the exclusive Island Lodge has just four magnificent villas, surrounded by Jackal berry trees, offering guests tranquility, luxury and an exclusive getaway.
Dining
Teak walkways meander toward the main lodge, where traditional and international cuisine is served. With a fully serviced bar on offer, guests can either dine indoors or outdoors, enjoying an authentic African barbecue.
