Nisyros & Symi
Begin your day on the volcanic island of Nisyros with free time to explore. You may like to wander through the port town of Mandraki’s whitewashed streets and visit the cliffside monastery of Panagia Spiliani, or perhaps you’re more inclined to visit the island’s archaeological museum. You also have the option to join a tour to the Polyvotis volcano to learn the Greek legend and walk into its caldera.
Later, continue to the island of Symi to revel in its old-world glamour and neoclassical architecture, both of which are signs of Italian rule here almost a century ago. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure, or you can join an optional guided tour including Gialos Harbour, the ancient monastery, and Customs House.

Walk down broad streets lined with impressive buildings such as the Library of Celsus, built in memory of Roman senator Celsus Polemeanus, who was said to have been a great bibliophile.
