This journey pairs Canada’s most luxurious train with an all-inclusive Regent Seven Seas cruise. After exploring pretty Banff you’ll board Rocky Mountaineer to witness some of western Canada’s most famous sights, from Yoho National Park to Fraser Canyon. Then. after exploring the cultural delights of Vancouver, you’ll board your ship, sailing north to enjoy a full programme of included excursions. Expect everything from whale watching to native canoe rides and dogsledding along glacial trails. Along the way, keep eyes peeled for the likes of humpbacks, orcas, bald eagles and bears. Back on board, expect all the luxuries of Seven Seas Explorer, where included gourmet dining and ultra-stylish accommodation await.

UK to Calgary
After included VIP airport lounge access sees you begin your trip in style, board your flight to Calgary where, on arrival, you’ll be met by your Regent Seven Seas representative and transferred to your Calgary hotel for an overnight stay.

Banff
After breakfast at the hotel, board your private sightseeing tour & transfer from Calgary into the Canadian Rockies. Experience the breath-taking Banff Gondola, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner, and the Hoodoos. Your stay for 2 nights is at the Rimrock Hotel in Banff, or similar. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as your please, maybe take advantage of the facilities at the hotel and its surroundings or venture into the wonderful town of Banff.

Banff & Yoho National Parks
Today you will board your coach for a sightseeing tour of Banff & Yoho National Parks, including Spiral Tunnels, Natural Bridge and Takakkaw Falls. Emerald Lake is also a favourite, one of the most magnificent lakes in the Canadian Rockies with awe-inspiring views. Lunch will be included on this tour. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Board Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops
After breakfast, you'll board the Rocky Mountaineer to begin your 2-day journey to Vancouver. This route will take you through the remarkable engineering achievement of the Spiral Tunnels and continue through Rogers Pass in the Glacier National Park. Onboard you will experience endless views of snow- capped mountains and stunning glaciers through the domed panoramic roof allowing you incredible photo opportunities. In Kamloops, depart from the train (transfers included) for an overnight stay in a Kamloops GoldLeaf class hotel.

Kamloops to Vancouver
Today will see you board the Rocky Mountaineer once more for a spectacular journey to Vancouver. Following the Thompson River, you will pass through Ashcroft, the Rainbow Canyon with its beautiful colourful cliffs and on to the Fraser Canyon and Hells Gate. The last leg of this incredible journey takes you through the lush farming regions of Fraser Valley and on to the Pacific City of Vancouver. Upon arrival in Vancouver, transfers are included to the Pan Pacific Hotel, or similar, for your 2-night stay.

Vancouver
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver and the spectacular North Shore with breath taking views of the city, ocean and surrounding mountains. Highlights include Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Return to your hotel late afternoon to enjoy an evening at leisure.

After breakfast today, walk to the port in central Vancouver to board your luxurious Regent Seven Seas cruise ship. Settle in to your stylish suite before indulging with a pre-dinner cocktail on the pool deck – one of the world's largest on a cruise ship – before the first of your included, three-course gourmet dinners in one of the many dining venues, from fine-dining French brasserie Chartreuse to the ambient Prime 7 steakhouse.

Today you've got a full day to explore the ship. Perhaps enjoy an alfresco lunch at the open-air pizzeria before an indulgent massage at the Canyon Ranch Spa, then head to one of the many opulent lounges for a sundowner – many of which are accompanied by live bands or DJs – before another wine-matched dinner.

Ketchikan
Once known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World', you'll anchor in to the world-famous totem poles and forested shores of Ketchikan today. Learn more about the histoic totem poles with a city tour accompanied by a native Tlingit guide – or, for something more adventurous, there's the chance to head out fishing, whale watching or on a fjord cruise. Remember, all excursions are included and can easily be organised directly from the ship. Tonight, perhaps head to the Constellation Theatre for a musical revue or for a thrilling night at the casino.

Juneau
Today sees you sail to Juneau, home to some of Alaska's most beautiful landscapes, including the Mendenhall Glacier. Explore with boat rides and canoe trips, learn about the area's famed gold mining history with an expert guide or even walk across the glacier itself, keeping an eye out for humpback whales, orca, moose and bears.

Skagway
Anchor in to the gold rush-era town of Skagway today. Explore with bicycle trips through the rainforest or embark on a cruise to Glacier Point through America’s longest fjord, spotting wildlife like bald eagles, moose and bears. We'd also recommend hopping on the narrow-gauge train that travel along the exact route used during the Klondike Gold Rush, on which you'll climb high into the mountains for panoramic views.

Hoonah, Icy Strait Point
After breakfast you'll have the chance to explore Icy Strait Point. This area is home to some of Alaska's most beautiful and unspoilt landscapes, such as vast lakes that are dotted with humpback whales, eagles, grizzly and black bears, all of which can be spotted today on included kayak trips with an expert naturalist. Other highlights include tours with the area's indigenous Tlingit people, fishing for halibut or even captaining a Zodiac through the area's wildlife-dotted fjords.

Your last day at sea will see you cruise past and marvel at the colossal Hubbard Glacier alongside a final chance to explore the ship.
