Introduction
The Okavango Delta is a surprising and lush oasis in an otherwise arid country, dominated in the most part by the Kalahari Desert. This area of shallow reed beds and flowing channels is best explored by boat, an experience that allows you to drift silently through the waterways, watching wildlife. You might even see the area's lions taking down larger game such as elephants and buffalo, behaviour unique to this region.
Covering roughly a third of this region is the renowned Moremi Game Reserve located at the heart of a series of private reserves, which boasts luxurious camps from which you can easily explore this beautiful landscape.
