Introduction
Koh Phi Phi is an archipelago of six islands off the Krabi coast, famous as the setting of Danny Boyle's feature film The Beach.
The view of Twin Bays on the main island of Koh Phi Phi Don is best enjoyed during sunrise and sunset. Renowned for its beauty, Ao Maya Bay or ‘the beach' on Koh Phi Phi Leh is the most popular stretch of shore, sheltered by cliffs on three sides, with excellent snorkelling in the surrounding coral reefs - certainly a spectacular vision of paradise.
