Introduction
Finger Lakes is a series of slim lakes in the central-west of New York. Seneca Lake is the deepest of the lakes at 192m, while Cayuga Lake is the longest, stretching 40 miles from lively Ithaca and historic Seneca Falls.
Picturesque Ithaca is home to the Cornell University campus and a diverse array of art galleries, bookstores and great restaurants. Another highlight of the region is Taughannock Falls State Park, a wooded sanctuary where 65-m high falls tumble into a cool, green pool.
