Location
Situated near the Yllas-Pallas National Park in the Muonio region of Lapland on the Swedish border, Hotel Harriniva boasts an ideal location, in an area with astounding natural beauty. Expect versatile accommodation and restaurant services as well as unforgettable safari programmes in the beautiful and unspoilt nature of Northern Lapland. Harriniva is located 3km South from Muonio Village and one hour from Kittila Airport.
Accommodation
Hotel Harriniva has a variety of accommodation options, with 64 comfortable safari style rooms, some featuring saunas and cooking facilities. Log cabins and a camping area are situated right by, and offer amazing views of the Muonio River. Alternatively, choose a Cabin for a cooking plate, bunk beds and a refrigerator – some have saunas. There is also a camping area where you can park your caravan, and Wilderness Cabins that are next to the Pallas-Ounas National Park.
Dining
Restaurant Harriniva and Kota-restaurant Aurora Borealis offer exquisite culinary experiences, with Lappish specialities. There are also several outdoor dining options in wilderness cabins and tepees. Harriniva’s pub is the perfect place to hit the dance floor.
Facilities
The family run hotel offers a range of facilities and equipment for guests to make use of, including cross country skis and snowshoes, to fishing rods and snowmobiles. The riverside sauna offers the best place to relax, in addition to the onsite spa, featuring outdoor Jacuzzis and a range of beauty and massages on offer. The holiday centre is also known for having one of the largest husky farms in Finland, housing approximately 400 dogs.
