Location
This modern, purpose-built resort boasts an idyllic waterfront location on the picturesque Malangen Peninsula. Here in this natural gem, memorable moments are made on the water’s edge or in the mountains. Malangen Resort is easily accessed from downtown Tromso or Tromso Airport, with direct transfers offered from the resort itself, taking approximately one hour.
Accommodation
Malangen Resort offers accommodation in a choice of hotel rooms, apartments, sea-view cabins, deluxe sea-view cabins and deluxe waterfront cabins. All accommodation options take pride in their high standard of quality, comfort and spectacular views, many of the rooms are located on the coastal rocks, metres from the fjord. Large panoramic windows frame astounding views, and all apartments, sea-view cabins and deluxe options have one or more private balconies.
Dining
The menu at Malangen Brygger restaurant is built upon north Norwegian food traditions combined with French cuisine and local ingredients. With the fjord right on the doorstep, the emphasis is unsurprisingly on seafood, while other regional specialties such as cured reindeer feature regularly.
Facilities
On-site facilities include a glass-front sauna, open air hot tubs and an Aurora event cabin. Conference facilities can cater for up to 325 people, with an array of nature-based activities on offer and an important part of the Malangen Resort experience.
