Located in a quiet bushland setting, Waverley House Cottages offer peace and tranquillity and views of the Bass Strait. There are just six cottages set in a sprawling eight acres, an ideal spot from which to explore the beautiful Lakes Entrance region.
Location
Waverley House Cottages are located in Lakes Entrance, East Gippsland, near the entrance to the Gippsland Lakes. It's the ideal inclusion on a Melbourne to Sydney coastal drive and gives easy access to attractions including the Buchan Caves, the Great Alpine Road and the vast expanse of waterways which form the Gippsland Lakes.
Accommodation
There are two one bedroom cottages with wood fires, spa baths, galley kitchens and queen bedrooms. There are also three two bedroom cottages and a two bedroom/two bathroom cottage, each with a covered veranda and views of the surrounding region.
Dining
Waverley House Cottages are self catering; you‘ll receive a continental breakfast hamper for your first morning and seafood/supper platters can also be arranged on request.
Facilities
A communal hydrotherapy spa set in a gazebo with an open fire and lounge provides a wonderful spot to relax after a days' exploring. There's also a communal BBQ on site, while Australia’s largest network of inland waterways ensure plenty of opportunities for water-based exploration. Hiking, cycling and fishing are also available nearby.
