Location

Under an hour’s drive from Malmö, the hotel is located in Ystad, a small town on the southernmost tip of mainland Sweden. Ystad Saltsjöbad’s dining experience includes views out over Österlen and the Baltic. The hotel’s main restaurant, Port, offers Swedish-American fusion seafood and specialises in local produce. The a la carte menu boasts dishes such as baked trout with cauliflower crème and crispy duck breast baked in a tomato and red wine sauce. The hotel’s second restaurant, the French-American bistro Vitas, combines flavoursome dishes with an intimate atmosphere. Think gourmet burgers, pan-seared fish and crisp continental beers.

Facilities

Aside from its superb location, excellent rooms and welcoming staff, guests often visit Saltsjöbad for the spa alone. Just 20 meters from the sea, the spa offers packages to suit all needs and wants.
