This three-day itinerary, an ideal add-on to your next Australian trip, takes you along the coastal road from Sydney to Jervis Bay for a unique glamping experience at Paperbark Camp. Stay in a Deluxe safari tent, complete with a private open-air en suite and wraparound decking designed to immerse you in the surrounding bushland. Spend your days walking through the bush, relaxing at the beach and visiting dolphins on an included guided Dolphin Cruise. And by evening, The Gunyah serves regional dishes and drinks among the treetops in the centre of camp.

Sydney to Jervis Bay
Today you'll pick up your hire car and drive the scenic coastal route from Sydney to Jervis Bay. The white sand beaches and turquoise waters of this region are world-famous, offering visitors myriad opportunities for swimming, scuba diving, and whale-watching. Your accommodation for the next two nights is the whimsical Paperbark Camp, surrounded by bushland just a few kilometres from the town of Huskisson. Here, canvas safari tents are nestled beneath soaring eucalyptus and paperbark trees and set slightly off the ground for maximum comfort and privacy. Your Deluxe Tent comes complete with wrap-around decking, solar-powered lighting and a private open-air en suite so you can spot wildlife as you shower. After sunset, take a torch as you walk the trails on the lookout for possums and other nocturnal residents.

Jervis Bay
Enjoy a lazy breakfast on the veranda this morning surrounded by nature. Today, stroll through some of the easy walking trails in the area or hire a mountain bike and explore further afield. You'll also have the chance to take an included Dolphin Cruise in Jervis Bay. During the tour an expert guide will offer commentary on the region's geography and history as you head out into crystal clear waters to see pods of bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat. You'll also want to spend some time on the beach, or perhaps take a canoe out for a picnic on the Currambene Creek. This evening, dine once again in the centre of camp at The Gunyah restaurant.

Jervis Bay to Sydney
After breakfast this morning, spend a little more time among the gum trees or take a trip along the coastal road for some more time at the beach. When you're ready, drive back to Sydney at your own pace to return your hire car.
