This fortnight-long itinerary takes in the best of New South Wales' many highlights. Starting in Sydney you'll have the chance to explore this wonderful city and its iconic landmarks including the famous Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Head inland to the majestic Blue Mountains where you'll discover unspoilt wilderness hiking trails, towering cliffs and beautiful valleys in this World Heritage listed area before making your way to the Hunter Valley, one of Australia's most famous wine regions. Then, finish off on the coast as you visit Port Stephens' wild dolphins before heading to Killcare to relax on the golden sands of Putty Beach or explore the region's network of walking trails.

Days 1-2
Depart UK

Begin your holiday with included airport lounge access before boarding your flight to Sydney, arriving on day three.

Days 3-4
Sydney

Arrive in Sydney, transfer to your hotel and check in for a two-night stay at the Four Seasons Hotel, one of the finest in the city. Spend the next day exploring one of Australia's most exciting cities. Recommended tours include dining in style aboard a cruise of Sydney Harbour, taking a tour the famous Opera House and enjoying some of the best views in the city on an exciting Harbour Bridge climb. Days 5-6
Blue Mountains

Collect your hire car and drive to Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort in the heart of the World Heritage mountain region. Use the day to explore local villages and striking landscapes, from the Jenolan Caves to the Blue Mountain Gardens. Our alternative to Lilianfels is the exceptional Spicers Sangoma. Upgrade to enjoy the likes of spa treatments, all-inclusive fine dining and a host of optional experiences, from nature walks to rock climbing and wildlife and wilderness drives.

Days 7-8
Hunter Valley

Drive to Australia’s oldest wine region for a memorable two-night stay among the vineyards. Home to more than 60 restaurants, 120 wineries and the world-class Hunter Valley Semillon, this famous valley is a food-and wine-lover’s paradise. We recommend dining at the excellent Roberts Restaurant, but there are plenty of superb options to choose from in between a range of optional tours and guided tastings.

Day 9
Port Stephens

Head to the Great Lakes Marine Park at Port Stephens. Keep your eyes peeled for any of the 140 resident dolphins while enjoying a marine-life cruise, or get sand between your toes on a 4WD tour of the sand dunes. It's a quintessential taste of Australian coastal living.

Days 10-11
Killcare

Continue on to the quiet village of Kilcare for a two-night stay. Perhaps spend the day enjoying beautiful Putty Beach with its golden sands and gently lapping waves. Or head inland or along the coast to explore the extensive network of walking trails. Also nearby, Bouddi National Park serves up a delightful mix of bush hikes and numerous pristine beaches and delightfully sheltered bays.

Day 12
Sydney

Return to Sydney to relax at the Four Seasons for one final night. Take the chance to explore the city further, perhaps returning to the iconic city centre for a last look at the iconic harbour, or heading to the suburbs to discover trendy beachside communities, artists' enclaves and fabulous farmers' markets.

Depart for UK

Transfer to Sydney Airport to board your overnight flight back to the UK, arriving home on day 14.
