It's the best way to appreciate the three Faraglioni, Capri's iconic rock stacks jutting out of the sea.

Capri is a lovely destination year-round, owing to its Mediterranean climate, though the summer may prove too hot for some travellers, with highs in July and August edging towards 30°. This also happens to be when most tourists descend on the island, making the best time to visit Capri the late spring or early autumn. At these times, the sea will be warm enough for swimming and water sports. We recommend avoiding winter travel, as beginning in October many local restaurants and shops begin to close down for the season; however, this is also when prices shift down accordingly.
