Travel deep in the frozen wilds of Finnish Lapland for a stay at Wilderness Hotel Inari. Here, you’ll enjoy nights wonderfully rustic accommodation paired with superb full-board dining and spectacular views across a vast frozen lake, whose forested surrounds set the scene for a full spread of included winter activities. Indeed, over two memorable days, you’ll enjoy a husky safari, two snowmobile adventures and a visit to a nearby reindeer farm. And, at night, there’s the chance to head out to a remote aurora camp where you’ll, with luck, catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Day 1
UK/Inari

Relax with included airport lounge access at your UK departure airport before boarding your flight to Ivalo where a waiting transfer will see you to your wilderness hotel in the heart of Finnish Lapland. On arrival, check into your Wilderness Room before heading to the restaurant for the first of your included meals – a hearty dinner based on the freshest Lappish ingredients. Then, collect your cold weather clothing – included in the price – before stepping out into the snow to hopefully catch your first glimpse of the Northern Lights.

Days 2-3
Included excursions

With a full spread of excursions included in the price, there’s plenty to keep you occupied across two memorable days. Head out on a snowmobiling, racing through frozen forests in the company of an expert guide, and take the reins on a husky safari as you’re taught how to handle your own team of dogs before setting off on a truly unforgettable adventure. You’ll also visit a reindeer farm, calling in to experience the life of a reindeer herder and learn about their unique culture and traditions. And, in the evenings, the adventures continue as, on one night, you strap on snowshoes to go in search of the Northern Lights at a specially chosen camp spot to watch the aurora’s dancing display accompanied by hot drinks and an open fire.
