Travel to the ultimate Arctic destination, Svalbard, on this action-packed winter holiday. You'll visit when it's at its most magical, shrouded in the blue haze of the polar nights, when the sun never crowns above the horizon, meaning an ever-present blue twilight. Over four memorable days you'll have the chance to mush your own team of huskies as the aurora swirls overhead, snowmobile across the frozen wilds and explore the depths of shimmering ice caves. We've even included a snowcat adventure and a Northern Lights evening at the remote Camp Berentz where you'll enjoy a traditional dinner by the fire. Accommodation is wither at the stylish Radisson Blu Polar or the ultra-contemporary Funken Lodge, where alpine-luxe rooms are complemented by spectacular glacier views and the best dining in Svalbard.
Day by day itinerary
Day

UK to Longyearbyen
After included VIP airport lounge access, take your flight from London to Longyearbyen (via Oslo), the world’s northernmost airport. Upon arrival, check in to your chosen hotel. Our top recommendation is the spectacular Funken Lodge, which boasts wonderful views of the epic Lars glacier alongside a stylish lounge and a celebrated champagne cellar. Tonight why not enjoy dinner at your hotel as you prepare for your first taste of Svalbard adventure.

For more serene activities, head for a beer tasting at the world's northernmost brewery or visit the Svalbard Museum to discover more about this fascinating region. Then, in the late afternoon, explore snow-covered trails with an included snowcat tour in search of the Northern Lights, which, in the depths of winter, can appear at any time of day or night.
