Hawaii’s Islands: A Luxury Experience

Arriving on a day flight from the UK, you’ll be met at the airport and privately transferred to your hotel for a three-night stay in Honolulu on Oahu’s southeastern coast. On your second day, you’ll explore Oahu at your leisure. Known as the ‘gathering place’, it’s a collection of all that makes Hawaii great: surf giant waves, dive into its underwater worlds or simply relax on its fantastic beaches.

On your final day on Oahu, you’ll tour the infamous Pearl Harbor. Start by stepping aboard the USS Arizona Memorial, which now floats above the resting place of this once-proud ship. Here, you’ll get an introduction into the events of December 7, 1941 and bear witness to the marble wall, hand-engraved with the names of those still entombed in the vessel below. You’ll then return to the mainland for a drive through the National Cemetery of the Pacific before a narrated tour of downtown Honolulu’s historic sights. You’ll visit the grandiose Iolani Palace, the palm-tree fringed State Capitol, the statue of King Kamehameha and the early 19th-century Kawaihao Church and Mission Houses.

A private transfer will bring you to the airport for the first of your island hops. After the short flight, you’ll transfer to your resort on Kauai’s world-famous Poipu Beach – a premier destination for diving, surfing and snorkelling. Today, you’ll be treated to an extensive tour that brings you up close to some of Hawaii's most spectacular landscapes and the geological events that created them. Hike across the rugged terrain of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, visit a lava tube known for its bright yellow and gold microbial mats living on the cave walls, and catch glimpses of lava lighting up the night sky at Halemaumau Crater. Snacks, beverages, a deli-style lunch and dinner are included in the tour.

Board a flight to Maui, often referred to as the ‘adventure island’, enjoying private transfers on each side. Tear yourself away from the beach, pool and golf course for hikes up Haleakala’s volcanic inclines, past waterfalls and along ravines. In between your two free days, you’ll be taken on an included tour along the winding coastal roads to Hana – one of the most scenic drives that America, let alone Hawaii, has to offer. After a continental breakfast, local guides will bring the breathtaking views of waterfalls, picturesque bays, rainforests and black sand beaches to life with their expert narration on the storied region’s fascinating history, culture and geography.
