On this short break, you'll enjoy the very best of winter in Finnish Lapland, spending three cosseting nights at Wilderness Hotel Muotka – a remote log-cabin hotel, hidden deep in the wilderness. Along with included full-board dining, inspired by the season, you'll be treated to a full programme of included activities, from snowshoeing and cross-country skiing to those all-time winter classics, snowmobiling and dogsledding. Enjoy included airport lounge access before your flight, via Helsinki, to Ivalo in Finnish Lapland. On arrival, transfer through the frozen forests to Wilderness Hotel Muotka where be treated to a welcome drink and dinner before settling into your cosy cabin.

Reindeer safari, snowmobiling & Northern Lights
After a hearty breakfast you'll embark on your first adventure – a snowmobile safari through the Arctic wilderness to a reindeer farm. Here you'll meet the reindeer herders, learn how to lasso a reindeer and enjoy a short sleigh ride before returning to the lodge on your snowmobile. A warming soup lunch will also be served during the tour. Then, having returned to the hotel, you'll enjoy another delicious dinner before heading out into the fells to a remote camp to search of the Northern Lights.

Husky sledding
Today’s activity is a truly Scandinavian classic – an exciting husky adventure through the beautiful winter landscapes of Finnish Lapland. After breakfast you'll head to a husky farm to meet your eager team and take instruction on how to handle a sled before setting off through the wilderness. It's a truly breathtaking experience as the yap of the dogs is replaced by the silence of the snowy forest and the patter of paws on the frozen trail. This evening you will go in search of the Northern Lights by snowmobile. The region is a hot spot for this celestial experience, so fingers crossed your efforts will be rewarded.

4
Snowshoeing & cross-country skiing
Having made the most of engine and paw power, today it's time for you to do the hard work. After a hearty breakfast, you'll head out, armed with snacks and warm drinks, to explore the hotel's beautiful walking trails on snowshoes. Then, after lunch, the adventure continue as you spend the afternoon cross-country skiing, And, with expert instruction included, you'll be set to explore by yourself once the tour reaches its conclusion. You'll then enjoy a farewell dinner back at base, perhaps followed by a warming sauna and a final chance to view the Northern Lights.
