Dating back to the 17th century, the baroque building retains many of its original features and blends in seamlessly with its surroundings. With its outstanding central location, Pucic Palace is the perfect base from which to explore the many highlights Dubrovnik has to offer, with a host of museums, cafes, churches, galleries and markets all within walking distance.
Featuring just 17 luxuriously appointed rooms and two suites, Pucic Palace has an exclusive and intimate feel, confidently combining traditional styling with the sort of modern amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this standard, such as wireless internet and DVD players in each room.
The hotel offers some fantastic fine dining options. Café Royal and Defne Restaurant serve a sumptuous menu of Mediterranean and international cuisine and the Razonda wine bar is the perfect place for a relaxing drink after an afternoon exploring the town. The hotel's breakfast room has fine views over the main square where, each week, a local farmers market is held.
Although the hotel itself doesn't have a pool or leisure facilities, guests receive complimentary access to the EastWest Beach Club and exclusive access to the gorgeous Banje Beach, just a ten minute stroll from the hotel.
We like: The superb location in Dubrovnik's old town and exclusive access to Banje Beach.
Best for: Discerning couples looking to stay in the heart of this beautiful medieval city.
