About

City | Food & wine | History & culture
The hotel sits on an Îlot Hunt, a site of historical significance opposite the St. Lawrence River. During its earliest days, the building was first used as a wharf, then a cannon battery and finally a warehouse by British merchants at a time when Quebec was one of North America’s largest ports. A major archaeological dig took place here prior to the final building of the hotel and a number of new artefacts dating back to the 1600’s were discovered; these are now on display in the hotel.
Location
Auberge Saint Antoine sits in the centre of the Old Port in Quebec City and has a multitude of restaurants, bistros, shops and galleries on its doorstep. Quebec City Airport is a 25-minute drive away and the hotel is just a short walk from the railway station. Valet car parking is available along with a car wash.

The excellent Panache restaurant is housed within the stone walls of a riverside warehouse and offers sublime views and food. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast and dinner and focuses on classic dishes and, when possible, produce from the hotel’s own garden on Île d’Orleans; the wine list is extensive with over 700 labels on offer from 14 countries.
