Location

This delightful hotel is nestled in 30,000 square metres of lush and tranquil parkland on the north coast of Ischia, a short hop from the sandy beach of San Montano, Nagombo thermal park, and the quaint coastal town of Lacco Ameno at the foot of Mt. Epomeo. You are also in easy reach of Citara beach and Poseidon Thermal Gardens, and you’ll also want to take in the expansive beach at Maronti to the south, and nearby Fumarole Beach at Sant’Angelo, where jets of steam shoot dramatically through the sand. The simplest Classic rooms are spacious and elegant, decorating in warm tones and with a private terrace onto the gardens. Alternatively you can choose from a raised deluxe sea view room with marble flooring, a Master room with a mini Jacuzzi and private solarium or a Junior, Deluxe or Garden View suite, all with generous terraces. A flatscreen TV with Sky channels, free WiFi and mini bar come as standard throughout, and room service is available.

Dining

Delicious breakfasts of home-made pastries and bread, fresh fruit and local jams and honey set you up for the day. Il Corbezzolo restaurant prides itself on ‘zero mile’ cuisine, making use of solely local ingredients in its traditional Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas, light lunches and sumptuous dinners, which in summer are served by candlelight under the pergola. The Iris Bar serves all-day drinks and snacks by the pool, and the Bar La Grotta offers cool cocktails and appetisers and spills out from a natural tufa-rock cave.

Facilities

The spa offers a full range of thermal water and beauty treatments, a sauna and Turkish bath, massages and natural scrubs, including some great value multi-day packages. There’s also a gym if you want to do more than just circuit the pool and stroll to keep toned.
