Located in the historic quarter of Valletta, with views of the Mediterranean Sea, and a 5-minute walk to St John's Co-Cathedral.
Casa Rosselli-Massa was built in and was the 17th-century home of wealthy goldsmith, philanthropist and Knight of Malta Don Pietro Rosselli and his wife Alusietta Massa. Now a blend of renaissance and baroque, restored to its original elegance and sophistication. The house combines history with contemporary design. On the renewed façade, the Rosselli coat of arms sits proudly above the main doorway.
Accommodation
The boutique property has just 25 luxurious designer suites, with five types of rooms. The ultra-modern rooms have been constructed within the building. Each room is different but there’s quite a bit of striking black, white and grey, set off by large-print wallpapers. The Maruzzo Comfort Rooms are named after the heir to the family fortunes whilst the Mezza Croce Deluxe Rooms are named after the half cross badge bestowed upon Pietro Rosselli by the Order of St John. Furthermore, the Alusietta Superior Rooms and Don Pietro Executive Rooms are named after the former owners. The unique 1634 suite, referencing the year the Rosselli-Massas got married, features a lounge and interconnected bedrooms.
