Idyllically set on the eastern coast of Zakynthos – the southernmost of the Ionian islands – Lesante Cape is a stunning new resort complete with direct beach access, delicious Greek cuisine and a gorgeous spa. Sister to the ever-popular Lesante Blu, it offers abundance of natural privacy surrounded by fruit trees and olive groves near Akrotiri village, a charming historic town with a rich cultural history.
Location
Set against the captivating backdrop of rugged mountains, green hills and the ever present turquoise Ionian sea, this new 65 five-star luxury suite and villa resort will offer guests the perfect place to relax, unwind and experience the true essence of authentic Zakynthian traditions.
Accommodation
The resort is comprised of 55 suites and 10 villas, all with either garden or sea views set in 23 buildings with two floors, and traditional yet elegant Grecian design. The suites are spacious, airy, and luxurious, sleeping from two to six people, some with two stunning private pools and terraces with incomparable views overlooking the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea.
The exclusive luxury villas offer more privacy and can cater to larger groups, sleeping up to seven people in a three-bedroom space, and the entire resort is available for a full property takeover for weddings and other private celebrations. Both the suites and villas come equip with luxury amenities like walk in closets, bathrooms with separate tubs and rain showers, high-end toiletries, in-room Bluetooth docking devices, luxurious bedding and linens, mini bars and Nespresso machines, and more.
Dining
Lesante Cape’s white-washed walls and sleek, minimalist decor give the space a quintessentially modern feel, though it was designed to look and feel like a traditional Greek village with a square at its centre, along with a charming café, an authentic taverna. Savour traditional and contemporary Greek cuisine at its three bespoke restaurants and enjoy refreshing drinks with incredible sunset views at its four lively bars.
Facilities
You’ll struggle to drag yourself away from the hotel’s pool, though – it’ll be split into three tiers, each with a bunch of sunloungers, enjoy a shopping area, and a folklore museum. Unwind at the resort's sprawling outdoor infinity pool, or its secluded private beach.
Find serenity at their Armonia Wellness Spa, which is inspired by ancient Mediterranean healing practices. Their spa is a true oasis of relaxation and tranquility and includes a heated indoor pool, four massage treatment rooms, a sauna, hammam, indoor heated jacuzzi plus a fully-equipped fitness centre.
