Location
Mvuu Lodge is situated in a secluded location, deep within the game rich Chiawa area. Located next to the Zambezi National Park and opposite the world heritage site of Mana Pools, the lodge is surrounded by indigenous bush, an unspoilt and abundant river, and the wildlife that roam freely through the camp. Road transfers from Lusaka take approximately four hours, while alternative boat transfers and charter flights can be arranged.
Accommodation
Eight tents sleep a maximum of 16 guests and come complete with en suite bathrooms and private viewing platforms overlooking the lagoon, where elephants and hippos come to drink and bathe.
Dining
Mvuu Lodge is a self-catered facility, with a nearby thatched restaurant and bar extending over the banks of the Zambezi River. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner on a set menu basis, and is the perfect spot for absorbing breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.
Facilities
Elsewhere, the swimming pool, bar and wildlife library provide only temporary distractions from the surrounding nature, which guests can enjoy by way of numerous activities, such as boat safaris, guided walks, birding expeditions and traditional game drives.
