Location
Narina Lodge, situated in Lion Sands, the southern part of Kruger National Park is the only private reserve with access to both Sabie and Sand Rivers, enhancing the diversity of game viewing. Driving time from Johannesburg is approximately five hours, however if travelling by road it is recommended that guests spend a night en-route at Panorama route, to ensure on arrival guests are fresh and ready for an incredible safari experience. Alternatively, Airlink has a daily return flight scheduled from Skukuza Airport to Cape Town International and twice daily from Johannesburg Airport.
Accommodation
Perched among the canopy of 100 year old trees and overlooking the Sabie River, Narina is a luxurious treehouse, with nine private suites, accessible by raised wooden walkways. All thatched suites are fully air-conditioned with en-suite facilities, large free-standing bath tubs facing onto the river and bedrooms opening onto private viewing decks and secluded plunge pools.
Dining
Meals consist of African inspired dishes and barbeques, served with fine South African wines in an outdoor boma, whereas breakfast and lunch are enjoyed as you relax along the lodge deck.
Facilities
Activities include morning and evening game drives, offering the chance to spot wildlife including rhino, leopard, various species of antelope and elephant, along with many other animals, in the safety of open safari vehicles, accompanied by a ranger and guide. Guests are also invited to join in bush walks, bird watching, river walks, wildlife lectures, wellness treatments and visits to sights on historical significance and local village experiences.
