Perhaps one of Porto’s most elegant hotels in the city centre, Porto Royal Bridges was transformed from an emblematic building from the 1970s by Interior Designer Nini Andrade e Silva. Situated close to the baroque church "Clerigos Tower", and adjacent to the historic Livaria Lello Book Store, a stone's throw from Aliados Square, and the iconic Sao Bento train station.
The public rooms are particularly opulent, with cork walling, and modern decor, but bedrooms are just as splendid, albeit rather more restrained. There is modern comfort aplenty, but offset with crisp white linen and contemporary Portuguese art.
Distributed over 6 floors and 3 different types, the 70 rooms are carefully furnished and designed. A themed hotel where the rooms have different sizes and layouts, on all floors, for similar room types. The style remains the same, as well as the characteristics presented in the description of each room type.
The Eiffel Bar is a favourite with guests and locals alike, whether for a light meal or cocktail, the Bar Eiffel offers you a service of excellence that results from the characteristic welcome of the North of Portugal and a relaxed atmosphere you are looking for. There’s also a sun-dappled terrace and a charming courtyard to make the most of the almost always sanguine weather.
