Singita Boulders Lodge. Sabi Sand Game Reserve

Location

Set along the banks of the Sand River, Boulders Lodge is an inviting oasis situated in a privately owned game reserve in the Sabi Sand Reserve. Boulders Lodge can be reached quickly by air, and the lodge can arrange scheduled flights or private charters, all flights land at Singita’s airstrip, located 10 minutes from the lodge. Johannesburg to Singita Sabi land takes approximately one hour, alternatively by road is 6.5 hours or just over two hours from Hazyview.

Accommodation

Consisting of 12 suites, Boulders Lodge combines lofty grandeur with traditional earthy colours and tapestries, whilst offering superior comfort. Two family suites include a master bedroom and twin bedroom; and all rooms feature a private plunge pool and deck, spacious bathrooms and indoor and outdoor showers. Rooms also include sumptuous living area and wrap around views from most parts of the natural stone lodge.

Guests will experience delicious cuisine, influenced by African flavours with strong Western culinary traditions-dining at the Lodge is an unforgettable and delightful experience. Choose from an array of stunning venues, including the dining deck or the open air boma, complemented by Singita’s unique bush wine cellar.

Facilities

Activities include morning and evening game drives, offering the chance to spot wildlife, including lion, buffalo, elephant, hippo, cheetah and rhino in the safety of open safari vehicles accompanied by a ranger and guide. Guests are also invited to join in bush walks and mountain biking, or at the lodge, unwind around the swimming pool in the main lodge and make use of the gym and spa facilities available.
