Board the Britannic Explorer
Your journey begins at London's Victoria Station where you'll board the baby-blue carriages of the Britannic Explorer in mid-Afternoon. Settle into your private suite, complete with double or twin beds and an ensuite bathroom, as you head west, charting a route through the heart of rural southern England, past the pretty Wessex Downs and market towns of Somerset, enjoying a delectable afternoon tea as views roll by. Then, as nighttime approaches, you'll join the West Somerset Railway, a heritage line offering spectacular views of the countryside and coast. The evening also signals the time for the first of your included dinners, a curated menu of regional dishes accompanied by fine wine and small-batch gins, a delicious end to your first day onboard.

Penzance to Fowey
Relax and unwind with a leisurely brunch as you journey along the south Devon coast, joining the Riviera Line to admire sweeping ocean views from the charming town of Teignmouth and the Dawlish Sea Wall. You'll then head into the heart of Dartmoor National Park and the county of Cornwall, catching glimpses of the sparkling Cornish sea as you wind your way between St Austell and Truro on your way to Penzance. Enjoy a delicious lunch of seasonal local ingredients, served in the dining car, before you disembark at St Erth for the chance to explore artistic St Ives, or continue to Penzance for a guided tour and a private Cornish wine tasting overlooking St Michael's Mount. Rejoin the train and journey back towards Fowey in the late afternoon, stopping for the night on a secluded track overlooking a river. Perhaps end the day with a spa treatment onboard, or in the Observation Car, sipping handcrafted cocktails, before dinner and live entertainment rounds off a memorable day.

Fowey & Bruton
Wake this morning to delicious breakfast served in your cabin as you look forward to a day of exclusive experiences, beginning with a tour of the coastal town of Fowey and the historic Lostwithiel area; there's everything from invigorating coastal hikes to personalised boat tours. Then, returning to the train, you'll return east, stopping at the historic market town of Bruton in Somerset, where you'll be treated to an after-hours tour of the famed Hauser & Wirth gallery, followed by a drinks reception and an exclusive dinner. Lastly, end the day back onboard the Britannic Explorer with an open bar of artisan gins, craft beers and hand-crafted cocktails, showcasing the finest of the UK’s independent distilleries and breweries.
