Begin your trip in style with complimentary airport lounge access before your day flight out to Vancouver. On arrival a private transfer will take you to your central accommodation. Both options are located right in the heart of the city, so you’ll be perfectly poised to explore. You have two days to explore pretty waterfront walks, historic cobbled-street districts and even the small matter of the third largest Chinese garden outside of China. Enjoy an included excursion, taking in the highlights of Stanley Park, Graville Island and Gastown. Put together and it’s no surprise that Vancouver often tops lists of the world’s most liveable cities.

Whether you choose the glass-domed carriages and gourmet, in-seat meals of the SilverLeaf service (Superior) or the dining-car indulgences of the split-level GoldLeaf alternative (Deluxe), today’s route is one of the most impressive. You will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into Kamloops. It’s all taken in with complimentary snacks and drinks – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic – available throughout the journey.
