Castel Monastero, Tuscany

Location

The Castel Monastero sits in a beautiful stretch of Tuscany; the Ombrone Valley, just 23km from Siena, and an hour and a half drive from Pisa airport. Surrounded by four hectares of vineyards, chestnut forests and cypress trees, the property and its surrounds were originally a medieval village with records dating back to 1050.

Accommodation

Sympathetically renovated, the property's rooms and suites are all decorated in a rustic yet elegant style. Some are located in the main building, whilst others occupy the charmingly renovated houses of the old village. Whichever you choose, you can expect a host of modern amenities coupled with all the hotel's unique old-world charm.

Dining

Also on offer is a superb gourmet restaurant and three bars, including an exclusive wine bar, located in the 13th century cellar.
