Location
Accessed by float plane or helicopter from either Port Hardy or Port McNeill - towns located an hour's flight from Vancouver at the northern tip of Vancouver Island, Nimmo Bay is as remote as it is beautiful. The resort itself is tucked away on the shores of a secluded inlet, deep within the Great Bear Rainforest on Canada's spectacular west coast, offering dramatic views of the ocean, forest and surrounding mountains.

Nimmo Bay Resort features nine spacious cabins offering guests a cozy retreat with breathtaking views of the surrounding bay. Intertidal Cabins, which feature red-peaked roofs, a comfy living area and two double bedrooms, rise and fall with the changing tide. The green-roofed Streamside Cabins enjoy a secluded location near a cascading waterfall and also feature a living area and two bedrooms, one of which has a queen-sized double bed and the other, two singles. In-room amenities are superb and include home-made cookies and truffles; Mission Hill red and white wine; a complimentary mini bar of juices, soft drinks and beer; a Bose iPod dock and stereo, daily housekeeping and turndown service.

The food at Nimmo Bay is one of the resort's highlights, and the full board room rates ensure you'll enjoy plenty of it. Alcoholic drinks are also included in the price and each cabin's mini bar is always fully stocked with a range of beverages and tasty snacks. Each day begins with a delicious breakfast including freshly made smoothies and home made pastries, while gourmet picnic lunches are served in the great outdoors during excursions.
