Location
Located within the 200,000-hectare Khwai Private Reserve within the northeast corner of the Okavango Delta, the landscape boats enormous diversity including permanent water channels, mopane woodland, seasonal waterholes and riverine forests. Skybeds is situated alongside a busy waterhole which plays host to an exciting array of wildlife, look out for herds of elephants, hippo and buffalo.
Accommodation
Skybeds is one of Botswana’s most intimate camps sleeping just six guests in three five-metre-high sleeping platforms. Each Skybed features an open-air bedroom with a comfortable bed draped in mosquito netting, a warm duvet, plenty of blankets and hot water bottles will keep you warm on chillier nights. The private bathroom with enclosed shower is on the second floor, and the main deck provides a cosy seating area and electricity to charge devices.
Dining
Enjoy wholesome food served around the campfire or on the dedicated dining platform, refuel after a busy day of game drives accompanied by plenty of wandering wildlife.
Facilities
Days here are spent exploring the surrounding wilderness on exciting game drives, look out for lions, leopards, wild dogs and hyena prowling their territory. Guided bush walks are a chance to view the landscape from a different perspective, follow herds of waterbuck and red lechwe as you explore the plains. Visit the underground hide for up-close encounters and excellent photo opportunities.
