Location

Mumbai sits on a peninsula that extends into the Arabian Sea and fans out into the graceful curve of Back Bay, along which runs the famous Marine Drive seafront. The Trident rises 35 storeys over the bay, offering commanding views over the ocean, the Wankhede Stadium cricket ground and the Mumbai World Trade Centre. Many of the city's other iconic buildings and attractions, including museums, art galleries, boutique shopping, clubs and dining hotspots, are just a short taxi ride away.

Accommodation

The rooms at the Trident are all designed to make the most of the hotel's superb location: spacious and filled with light by large windows that stretch almost floor to ceiling, with stunning views over Back Bay, Marine Drive and the city. Trident Club Rooms and Ocean View Suites are particularly airy, with exceptionally spacious bathrooms.

Dining

Food options are so varied at the Trident that there is something for everyone at every hour of the day. Mezze restaurant The Verandah is open 24/7, and there are two further restaurants for more traditional mealtimes. At Frangipani visitors can sample the best Mediterranean and Indian cuisine, while India Jones serves up a pan-Asian fusion, from the delicacies of Japan to the indulgent spices of Malaysia. Cocktails, coffees and teas can be enjoyed into the small hours at the Opium Den bar.

Facilities

At this modern hotel catering to modern needs, there are multiple opportunities to recharge and rejuvenate at the well-equipped fitness centre and Trident Spa, where health and wellness specialists are on hand to recommend personalised treatments and regimes. The outdoor pool boasts unforgettable views over the azaleas to Marine Drive and the ocean beyond.
