La Mamounia is a legendary Moroccan palace set in beautiful gardens and located in the old medina, Marrakech’s historic walled centre - not that you would know it. Once you pass through the famous entrance, the hustle and bustle of outside seems a world away.
Recently refurbished, the hotel first opened its doors in 1923 and has long been a favourite with high profile guests, among them Winston Churchill, who called it ’the most beautiful place in the world’.
There are four fantastic restaurants where world class chefs offer a wide range of cuisine from French and Italian to traditional Moroccan, and each of the restaurants have a bar to match, where you can sip a cocktail while enjoying the backdrop of the Atlas mountains. The Sunday Brunch is particularly special – held in the gardens of the hotel, it's a rather legendary, indulgent affair.
