As the only Ottoman imperial palace you can stay in on the Bosphorus, this is a truly unique proposition. It’s one of Turkey’s most luxurious hotels, complete with palm-dotted grounds, welcoming pools and stylish rooms. A five-strong spread of fine-dining venues doesn’t hurt, either.
Even the entry-level rooms come with everything from balconies and pillow menus to cosy furnishings and free WiFi. They even feature mini-bars stocked with complimentary soft drinks. The views of the gardens are excellent, too, while upgrades add in overlooks of the Bosphorus River itself. Suites are more impressive still, featuring the likes of canopy beds and powder rooms.
However, with a full spread of luxurious facilities on offer, you’ll be forgiven for not spending too much time in your room. After relaxing by the gorgeous infinity pool, perhaps work up a sweat in the state-of-the-art fitness centre or unwind further with a spa treatment.
However, for many, it’s the dining options that impress most. Perhaps indulge with the Lebanese specialities of Laledan, treat yourself to the Turkish delights of Tugra, or tuck into some just-caught seafood at the Bosphorous Grill. There’s also some of the finest afternoon teas in town, along with lavish cocktails served among the palm trees. Whichever you choose, you’ll be able to dine on a terrace overlooking that famous river.
