Buenos Aires
Arriving in Buenos Aires, you'll be met for a private transfer to your hotel. Both our options are set in the leafy, well-heeled neighbourhood of Recoleta, with our palatial Deluxe offering a special favourite – a lesson in Louis XV excess, all chandeliers and polished wood. The next day, you'll get your bearings with a half-day tour of the city, showcasing its European wonders and the colourful neighbourhood of La Boca. It's a raffish port given over to artsy brilliance. There's also plenty of time to take in the city-of-the-dead cemetery, neoclassical Argentine Congress and rabbit-warren antique markets. Lastly, we've included that most quintessential of Buenos Aires experiences – a tango performance and steak dinner.

Parque Nacional Los Glaciares
Your flight down to El Calafate, gateway to the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, is bookended by private transfers, bringing you to your luxury lodge accommodation, contrasting acres of Patagonian wilderness with stylish open fires. The next day, you'll be treated to a private tour of the region's icon – the city-sized Perito Moreno. As one of the planet's few advancing glaciers, a series of walkways – and your shared boat ride – offer breath-taking views of the its face, a towering, 80-metre-tall wall of ice. If you're lucky, you'll see house-sized blocks shear right off it, landing in the Lago Argentino with an almighty crash, only to reappear and bob away as icebergs. On your private transfer back to the hotel, keep your eyes out for condors and flamingos. With a day at leisure either side there is the option of exploring further with an included iceberg cruise, and optional crampon hikes and horse rides.
* During low season, the Deluxe option hotel is based on Esplendor Calafate

Your flight north, again sandwiched by included private transfers, will see you to your luxury hotel, positioned just a stone's throw from Iguazú Falls. Our Deluxe option even offers views of its torrential cascades from wildlife-dotted tropical gardens. On arrival, you'll be treated to a private, full-day tour of Argentine side of the falls, following a network of walkways and passing through the rainforest in a small ecological train. The main attraction is the spectacular Devil's Throat drop. You'll even get right up close with a boat ride, shooting through narrow gorges. The next morning you'll explore the Brazilian side of the falls with your private guide for a more panoramic overlook.
