To island hop in Greece is one of travel's true bucket list experiences. And, this itinerary does just that, starting in ancient Athens and moving on to combine Rhodes with its beaches, wooded valleys and ancient history, and Kos, fringed by the finest beaches in the Dodecanese, dwarfed beneath mighty crags, and blessed with lush valleys and millennia-old Corinthian columns. Remember, the below itinerary is just a suggestion, and island hopping can be completely tailored to your needs.

Day 1
Athens

After making the most of your included airport lounge access, depart the UK on a day flight to Athens. On arrival your private transfer will meet you and make the drive to your hotel in Athens, with its long history, dating from the first settlement in the Neolithic age. In the 5th Century BC (the “Golden Age of Pericles”) – the culmination of Athens’ long, fascinating history – the city’s values and civilization acquired a universal significance. Over the years, a multitude of conquerors occupied Athens, and erected unique, splendid monuments. Rest of the day at leisure.

Days 2-4
Athens/Rhodes

After breakfast, your private transfer will take you back to Athens airport for your flight to Rhodes, the capital of its island namesake, and the wider Dodecanese group. An arrival transfer will meet you and take you to your chosen hotel, where you can relax, and enjoy three days at leisure to explore the island at your own pace. With 2400 years of history and culture that has left its imprints all over the island. We suggest a visit to the Palace of the Knights, and a walk around the narrow streets of the medieval old town, with plenty of opportunity to taste some local specialities. Optional excursions can also be arranged to Lindos with its picturesque streets and delightful beach, or Kalithea's natural springs.

Days 5-6
Rhodes/Kos

Enjoy a last breakfast on Rhodes before your private transfer will take you to the port to catch a ferry to the island of Kos, upon arrival your awaiting transfer will take you to your chosen accommodation. Enjoy time at leisure to discover the beauties of the island which is fringed by the finest beaches in the Dodecanese, dwarfed by mighty crags, and blessed with lush valleys. Ancient Greek ruins are scattered everywhere you turn, and a mighty medieval castle is worth a visit for panoramic views out over the harbour.

Day 7
Kos/Athens

Enjoy your last breakfast on the island of Kos before your transfer will pick you up and take you to Kos airport to catch your flight back to Athens.
