This tailor-made journey will see you embark on a trip through stunning Tofino on Vancouver Island, starting with an exploration of Vancouver’s eclectic gems, from Stanley Park's sprawling verdure to intimate Japanese eateries. Then, you'll head on an included plane journey to Tofino and head to the rocky shores and dense forests of Vancouver Island. Enjoy a stay in a cosy, beach-view suite in the iconic Wickaninnish Inn, spending days bear watching in the ancient rainforest, spotting humpback and orca whales from your kayak and relaxing in hot springs. Come evening, you'll be treated to the use of a luxury spa and renowned restaurant featuring ultra-fresh seafood.

1
UK to Vancouver
After beginning your trip in relaxing style with VIP airport lounge access, board your day flight to Vancouver. On arrival, check in to the ultra-contemporary Loden hotel, wonderfully situated in Vancouver’s picturesque coal harbour, featuring a luxurious spa and sprawling, elegant rooms. Take the chance to explore Vancouver, perhaps with a stroll in historic Gastown or along the charming seafront, before taking advantage of the city’s eclectic dining options, from Japanese hole-in-the-walls to ultra-fresh seafood eateries.

Vancouver to Tofino
After breakfast, make your way to the airport for a short flight to Tofino. Make your way to the stunning Wickaninnish Inn perched on a rugged, rocky peninsula overlooking the forest carpeted atolls of Vancouver Island's wild coast. Enjoy beach views, private balconies and fireplaces, with local art-adorned walls adding a charming touch. You’ll receive wet weather gear if the weather doesn't comply, or a backpack and beach blanket in summer, and come evening, you'll indulge on locally caught seafood with panoramic sunset views.

The Wickaninnish Inn
You've got the next three days to explore the lodge and its surrounding area. Enjoy an included coastal bear watching excursion on the pristine waters. On day four we’ve included a whale watching tour – you'll travel north to the end of Clayoquot Sound, stopping at a deep sea cave and viewing black bears, an eagle’s nest and a seabird nesting island before walking around thermal rock pools and enjoying a gentle hike through the rainforest boardwalk trail to the natural sulphur hot springs. At the lodge dine in the evening in The Great Room offering breath-taking ocean views of the wild and unique Vancouver Island coastline. The large timber framing lends a warmth and strength to the room, while the open concept offers an uninterrupted panorama; perfect for sunsets and storm watching.

Tofino to Vancouver
After breakfast, transfer and take your included flight from Tofino to Vancouver, checking into the Loden again and taking advantage of what you may have missed last time. Perhaps head to Stanley Park’s expansive verdure or the West End’s public art and sculptures, or further afield, lighthouse-dotted islets and beaches provide a wonderful way to while away the hours.

Vancouver to UK
After breakfast, make your way to the airport for your flight back to the UK, arriving on day eight.
